The Crown Prince of Dubai said their inspiring story was similar to that of Dubai

Three men with common goals met on Tuesday to share their ambitious paths to success.

All three went from humble beginnings to ambitious ventures. Two went from a small Silicon Valley start-up that grew into the technology giant it is today, while the third started in a sleepy village that has since developed into a sprawling metropolis.

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, Crown Prince of Dubai, met Google co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin. Mr Brin is also president of Google’s parent company, Alphabet Inc.

“They founded Google from their shared room at the university dormitories and it grew to a market value of more then $600 million,” Sheikh Hamdan said.

He said the men had an inspiring story that was similar to Dubai’s: “We both share a desire to build the future.

“They created the future of knowledge; we created a model city for the future of urbanism.

“In co-operation with them, we can contribute positively to the future of humanity.”
